Service Description

Novice Pet Gundog course is for handlers/dogs who have completed Beginner Pet Gundog training already and want to continue the journey. For any Gundog breeds aged over 8 months 6 Weekly sessions lasting of 1 hour with an optional assessment session at the end of the course. Assessments will be given Pass with Merit or Distinction and awarded with a Rosette and Certificate, assessment is voluntary. Walking to heel off lead Advanced whistle work Steadiness to thrown retrieving items Memory retrieves Retrieving multiple dummies Long marked retrieves Delivering a retrieving item to the handler Introducing retrieving from cover Introducing blind retrieves Use of hunting commands This course is held outdoors and sessions can be rearranged due to extreme weather at short notice.
