Service Description
Does your dog struggle around other dogs, people, traffic, or busy environments? Neutrality is the foundation of calm, confident behaviour — and this 6-week course is designed to help your dog learn how to exist in the world without feeling the need to react to everything in it. This course focuses on teaching your dog that they don’t need to engage, over-excite, or stress about what’s going on around them. Instead, they’ll learn to stay relaxed, focused, and comfortable — no matter what’s happening nearby. Whether your dog is reactive, over-friendly, anxious, or just easily distracted, this course will give you practical skills and real-world training to make everyday life easier and more enjoyable. Why book this course? - Build calm, reliable behaviour around distractions - Reduce reactivity, over-arousal, and frustration - Strengthen your dog’s confidence and emotional control - Improve focus and engagement with you - Learn clear, practical handling skills you can use every day What we’ll cover over the 6 weeks: - What neutrality really means and how to teach it - Developing calm focus around dogs, people, and environments - Reading your dog’s body language and stress signals - Creating emotional regulation and impulse control - Lead handling and positioning for real-life situations - Managing distance, thresholds, and distractions - Building confidence without forcing interactions - Practical setups you can replicate outside of class This is a supportive, structured course designed to meet dogs where they’re at — helping them feel safe, settled, and successful in the real world. Spaces are limited to keep the sessions calm and effective, so early booking is recommended.
