Service Description

Puppy Obedience training is a 5-week training course and each session will last up to 1 Hour. Puppies need to be fully vaccinated and 20 weeks of age or under to start the course, so that all the dogs are at a similar stage of development. Foundations in this course can lead on to GUNDOG training or OBEDIENCE training. The 5 Week Puppy Course will show you how to improve your puppy’s obedience and help him grow into a well-mannered, well-balanced and friendly pet. We will cover: Come (recall) Heelwork/loose lead walking Jumping up Sits Greeting dogs & people Lie Down/settle Leave it Retrieving/Hunting You will need your dog on a lead, high value treats and something to retrieve/toy. Course is finished with a Rosette presentation Photos of you and your dog and short assessment of what we have achieved throughout the 5 weeks. Held in Bloxworth, all sessions take place outside and can be cancelled at short notice due to extreme weather conditions, those sessions will be added to the end of the course.
